Jeff Perelman has been with Sterling since 1996. Since then, he has been involved in all the firm's real estate transactions, playing a key role in identifying, acquiring, and financing over 3.5 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties and undeveloped land. Perelman also has been responsible for the oversight of portfolio properties, as well as their repositioning, development, and disposition -- working with leasing and listing brokers and third-party property managers to establish and implement key operating practices and procedures. Prior to joining Sterling, Perelman owned and managed a commodities brokerage group. He also practiced law in Chicago, with an emphasis on real estate transactions. A member of the National Association of Industrial Office Properties, he graduated with honors from the University of Illinois and received his JD with honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology's Chicago Kent College of Law.
